BIG FREEZE NEWCASTLE EVENT & 2017 BIG FREEZE BALL
Yes, our Partner Tim Mackenzie and his brother Jim (alias The Blues Brothers ) are back at again in 2018; doing the ridiculous in sliding down a slippery dip in to a pool of ice in the middle of winter.
All to help raise much needed funds for research in to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease; a disease which took out their elder brother David in 2007 and has effected a number of others associated with KLM
Here is the Big Freeze Newcastle 2017 Event Report, which gives a whole lot more detail.
Over $100,000 was raised in 2017 and the aim is to raise $150,000 this year .
KLM are a major corporate sponsor of this event.
The slide is on Saturday 23rd June at Number 1 Sportsground at 3pm .
